The Kensington-Talmadge Planning Committee
The Kensington-Talmadge Planning Committee was established in 1991
to help guide the long term evolution of the Kensington and Talmadge
areas. The committee is recognized by the City Council for the purpose
of advising the city council, the planning commission, planning
department, the city manager and other agencies on local projects.
Public meetings are held at 6:30 PM on the second Wednesday of
each month in the Kensington Community Church at 4773 Marlborough
Street and all residents of Kensington and Talmadge are invited
to attend.
The Kensington-Talmadge planning committee has reviewed the following
issues: traffic issues, lighting issues, zoning, conditional use
permit review, project review, property variance, neighborhood code
compliance, and pipeline repair schedule.
By attending these meetings, residents have an opportunity to stay
informed and voice concerns with projects that affect their communities.
